Hello,
I have made an X10 installation in my new apartment using mainly AD10's (28 modules) LD11(6 modules) and SW10 (16 modules) from Marmitek, as you will see in the attached picture.
Despite some problems in the beginning, the system is now running perfectly well.
The AD10s are used to run low intensity 12V power adapters driving LED lighting as well as florescent lights, appliances and water valves. The maximum current load is about 200W (being less than 1 AMP on 220V)
Ever since they entered in service, the AD10s have been failing gradually, so far 14 units have failed at the rate of 1 every 2 weeks. The last module failed minutes ago -what made me rush to write this blog-, it is the one driving two fluorescent lights of 40W each installed in my walking closet!
The faulty modules start by failing intermittently until they become totally unresponsive to X10 signals and even to manual operation from the integrated button.

Although the dealer has been replacing the modules. They were not able helping me identify the reason behind those repetitive failures, claiming that their units have no structural damage and therefore they cannot further investigate my problem.
Non of the LD11 or the SW10 have failed, both the modules are ok so far (fingers crossed)
Please let me know if any of you have faced similar issues with the AD10. Apart from few posts on the internet claiming failures of AD10's, I was not being able to find related information. I'm really worried of what will happen when the warranty expires!

I would also like to know if similar better quality products exist?
Thank you
